Merry Christmas

Hi Friends! Well its officially my favorite time of the year....FALL! I think today is suppose to be the last day in the 90'S and HELLO 70'S!!! Destiny and I are attempting having a garage sale on Saturday. I use to be able to park my car in the garage, but with all of my son's stuff in there, I can't.... it will be very hard to sell all of his things :-( , but I can keep what's special and I've had a year to wrap my head around it. the 1st time we tried I was balling my head off :-( We will see how it goes.

Regarding the girls, it was postponed again :-(....I don't even have words for that issue :-( Again, court on Oct 17th.

Ok on to why you came :-). I blended the background with distress inks. The trees are new from Tim Holtz, They are only a few inchs tall, so I partial die cut them to make them taller. I used Simon Says snow dies, and last but not least the sweet deer are from Kitsch Christmas Stamp....I think, no , I KNOW these are the cutest deer ever!

Thank You friends, for your continued support, it means the world. I started to write all my sorrows down, but erased them, you don't need to hear me wining and  crying :-) Hugs, Char

Hello my sweet friend & almost neighbor! Was just wishing we could have coffee together & here I see your post. Gotta say--you make the absolute best cards, Char--totally love the gorgeous background & perfectly designed scene! You'll be in my thoughts on Saturday even though I'll be working--not smart planning for WCMD--haha! Wishing you peace in the midst of sorrow. Big hugs, Greta

Char, what a gorgeous card you've created...so full of colour, life and sweetness! the deer couple: beyond darling (reminds me of Rudolph and Clarice, from the Christmas classic). You need never apologize for wanting to share your sorrows with us; you need never think you're whining; you need never 'erase' them. We're here as your friends, offering shoulders to lean on, strong arms to hug, and ears (or in this case, eyes *grin*) to listen. All those coming your way, virtually. Wish I could just reach through the screen and give you a big squishy hug right now! Let's pretend I did...hope you feel a bit better. I sure do!
hugs and love~c

Thank goodness there is crafting to offer some release, right? LOVE your card! Gorgeous snowy background, and the inked sky is amazing. And yes, those are definitely the cutest deer ever! Love!

This is just darling! Love that you've done the background sky in the sunshine shades, as opposed to the usual blues. I think it helped create a lot of 'happy' for these cute little deer. Like the idea of making the tree line taller too. Good work on this one! TFS & good luck with getting things all settled, Hugs

Wonderful Christmas card Char - I do love your beautiful background.
Things we can get rid of but memories will always remain in our hearts. I know this has to be incredibly difficult. Thinking of you --
