This and that

Hi Friends~ I hope you had a great weekend! I'm sorry for the absence, but sometimes I have to regroup after court stuff. It's so much on my heart and mind, I shut down. John's court stuff is postponed until June. Here's how I see it.......It's like three deaths, but with deaths over a period of time you start healing, but with John and the girls stuff, the nightmare keeps continuing and it never goes away, so you never get any peace, or have time to heal. So, I just take one day at a time, and craft when I feel up to it :-)

I made a few tags with Wplus 9 stamps, embossed the flowers with Platinum embossing powder and  water colored them. The tag toppers are from Reverse Confetti.

And for this little card I used Papertrey's new Make it Market kit, for the base of the card and Reverse Confetti's new Candles and confetti stamps and dies. The checkered paper if new from My Favorite Things

That's it for me :-) Have a wonderful week friends! Hugs, Char

Love this stamp image, and I had never thought of using the platinum with anything but a sentiment. It's very pretty on these flowers, with the color choices. Good luck with the relaxation effort. Sometimes this legal stuff is so very stressful, and you really just need to chill totally. Don't worry about blogging..you have more important things to do just now. We're all here when you feel like being in Blogland. TFS & Have a good week. Hugs

I was just thinking of you the other day and thought I haven't seen a new creation from Char. I'm glad to see you took some time out to create to let your mind rest from the stress in your life. It's an ongoing process, which isn't easy I'm sure. Keeping you in thought and prayer! Your tags are gorgeous with the pretty flowers! And, just love the mint colored cake on your lovely card! Take good care! Sending out good vibes and prayers your way, hugs!!!

Sweet Char, my heart goes out to you and your son in dealing with this seemingly never-ending court situation. The rawness and turbulence of your emotions sound exhausting. Yes, taking one day at a time is all you can do - as well as keeping a positive attitude that things will come out right. Sending you an abundance of prayers and hugs to guide and support you. I'm here - we're all here - for YOU! Expressing your creativity is a fantastic outlet and WOW! Your tags and little card: works. of. art! Flowers and cake: beautiful and scrumptious!!
Hugs and love,
