Hello, how are you

Hi Blog Buddies! I hope you have a wonderful Memorial Weekend! I am going to the coast tomorrow with Destiny and Kinley!  I need to go get Kinley some sand toys :-)

I started my background with a stencil and distress inks. I just wiped the inks on to the stencil and sprayed with water.  After dry I added a piece of Vellum to the BG. The flowers are from Altenew and so easy to ink up, as long as you have a Misti....I was thinking the other day....how did I stamp layers before?  I'm not sure I like the different tones of blue...maybe to much? I don't think it's my favorite card, but going out of my box :-)

I'm playing  along with the Fusion Challenge!

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!! HUGS, CHAR

My favorite color is blue....so I think your card is gorgeous Char. I must invest in a misti, maybe then I'd be more confident with stamping? TFS the tip on how you created the fabulous background! Enjoy your weekend!

Yayyy for some beach time with your two special girls! Sand toys for Kinley: major fun about to unfold! Your card, my dear, is breath-taken-away gorgeous! The background and frame create a perfect canvas for those oh-so-lovely bold blue blooms that are, in my world, stunning! Not too much blue for ME! It's lovely and those lovely Altenew roses look beautiful covering the background stencil pattern. This is one of Altenew's best sets I think and you're right: Misti works to make this layering much easier(But I can still manage to mess up!) TFS & enjoy your time with your loved ones. Hugs
