Warm Wishes

Hi! I hope you have a wonderful weekend? We've finally had some much needed rain!  I can honestly say I don't care for rain but it's wonderful when you can stay indoors and practice coloring. I've found coloring to be a great stress reducer!

I found a ton of digital images that I love from a site called Sassy Cheryl's.  I love, love her illustration's! So I have a lot of them to continue to  practice! I know I need help with the copics and I have always had trouble with my light/dark areas. I'm slowly buying at least enough to have three of each color. I want but don't think I need, or can afford the whole collection! Anyway, if you have any pointers on her, or critique's I'd love to hear them!

Have a great day! Hugs, Char

Char, your colouring looks mighty awesome to me; you've showcased her wonderfully. I simply can't afford copics (they run nearly $10 here in Canada), so I rely on my Chameleon pens. I still need a ton of practice with them to get the shading, light/dark areas figured out. The fusing...a challenge. Still: they're affordable...Have you checked out Julia's Just One More Card blog? Her colouring - copics, pencils, other markers - is amazing. You may find some tips there...but I think you've got these Copics mastered!

I can see why you fell in love with her images--this is adorable! Your coloring looks wonderful, Char, & if you were closer I'd let you use my poor neglected COPICs or as I call them--"embellishment coloring markers"--haha! Glad you guys got rain, too--trying not to complain this year with drought relief so needed.

So fabulous! I know right, we were having cloudy weather like Seattle for weeks, and it finally got cold on Halloween, I am thinking it will be a cold winter too!

No critiques here as I haven't tried colouring with copics (But I did stop and admire the collection recently at Comic Con!) I think you did a fabulous job colouring this image -- and I love that sentiment, too!

Oh, that is such a sweet image, indeed! And I think your coloring is wonderful! I only own about 5 Copics, so my coloring is quite lame! ;)

So sweet, Char! Your coloring is beautiful! Just be you! And I can't help you with the Copics thing. I swore off them a long time ago. They're far too expensive for my budget.
