Have a holly jolly christmas

Happy Monday! The start of another week. It's funny it was just summer and in another few weeks it will be Thanksgiving! I thought about starting my Christmas decorating already it get a head start lol! I need to get my fanny in gear and go shopping. Have you guys started holiday preparations yet? I'm always interested in hearing about peoples traditions. What's yours?

Today I have a quick card featuring a stamp set from Stamping Bella "Christmas Soldiers". These guys are having fun lol!  I added some watercolor in the background and that it. I wanted it simple and that's not easy for me, I always want to add more!

Thanks for stopping by! Hugs, Char

This is too cute Char!! One of my traditions was to buy our son a special Christmas ornament every year. When he got married I gave him all of his ornaments, with the exception of his first Christmas, for their tree. Now that they have Penelope they want to do the same thing for her!!

Cute card, Char! The red strip on the side is such a great element & perfect watercolored background! Presents were always wrapped the night before Christmas at our house--not because my folks wanted to do it then, but because they just never seemed to get it done earlier! I loved to do the wrapping, so it became my job--even wrapping my own gifts! I never peeked--didn't want to spoil the surprise!

What a fun card with the dancing Christmas soldiers, Char! One of our Christmas traditions is going to midnight service on Christmas Eve. By the end of the service everyone has a lit candle...so magical and peaceful! Take care, Char...hugs!:-)

What a delightful pair of soldiers, Char, dancing their little feet off! So darling! My husband and I have the 'tradition' of not being home at Christmas, because we spend them, alternating, with his family - 6 hours west, through a mountain pass that can be incredibly treacherous - or mine - 4 hours north. Our place is incredibly small, so hosting everyone is just not possible, plus our moms...well, they like the comforts of their own surroundings. Even thought the travel is tiring, our visits see us spoiled and pampered no matter what the direction! As for my 'favourite' tradition: attending church on Christmas Eve and coming 'home' to my mom's or my husband's for treats afterwards!

Oh well, this December is special, my house is going to be full of people, my sister is coming to the States for the first time, and then Dolce is bringing her room mate home, Clare is coming back with Jared and also another friend, my son Lione also will be here, oh boy.... I need to find room to house so many people and I better make my house look good too! : )

Love the bright pop of the blue color in the center that highlights this duo of colorful soldiers. Cute image, and the red stripe down the edge added even more pizazz to an already delightful card. Good luck on your holiday shopping. TFS & Have a great wkend. Hugs
