Pillow Box and Peek-a-Bat Dies
The Cutting Cafe
Three Sets-Winner's Choice
$25 Gift Certificate

1st up is a set from PTI that I've never used. In keeping with the adorable graphics Lori used I thought this cat set would be perfect. I used distress inks randomly on a stencil, added water and laid it on the paper. Used distress inks and a blending tool for the circle, embossed the sentiment in white.

For this card I laid down a stencil, added versamark thru the stencil and then pulled up the stencil and added embossing powder to the web. Then I added distress inks to fill in the cracks blending as I went with orange and yellow in the center. The vellum skelton and sentiment are from Crate Paper (After Dark).

For this card I did the same technique as the 1st card. I just laid different inks on a stencil and added water. The rest of the card if from Carta Bella (Trick or Treat)

Be sure to join me in visiting these lovely ladies to see their Halloween goodies:

Thank You girls for all the love and support, your the best!! Hugs, Char

It's like your cards just crawled right out of the vintage era and came back with a bang!! These are AWESOME!! What you've produced here is beyond adorable and I just love the retro happy feel that they radiate. Your style is gorgeous and I was so excited that you showcased not one but THREE treats for us!!! I'm a fan!!

Hi Charlene, It's been a while and what a feast for the eyes to enjoy 3 beautiful & bright & cheery Halloween cards this evening. I will fess up that #1 must be my fav - really like the colors on that one. Well done on each of the designs & colors on these cards...You're way ahead of me on the Halloween & Fall.. I've yet to make the 1st one. Really behind. TFS & Hugs. Hope the health issues are all in the past too.

Wow! What great Halloween cards. They are have their merits but being partial to cats I'm really liking the too cute to spook card. I've been too busy to acknowledge H'ween and fall much. You've inspired me to push aside some obligations so I can play!

Oh Charlene! These are the most amazing Halloween creations, I have seen lately :) I am so inspired :)

These Halloween cards are just stunning. I love all those distress ink/stencil backgrounds. This year my daughter is going to host Halloween party and she is planning hard for that. This party will be held at one of the party space rentals in Brooklyn.

I love how you used the stencils for these cards. I really like the combination of colors you used on your first kitty card. Great job on all of them.

Charlene, So glad to hear about the weight loss. I should do the same, but just too plain lazy to stop my bad habits. I hope you are feeling better without the extra lbs. We are in So Fla just now, and it's about 94 degrees today. We'd been having cooler days home in SC. Lovely sunshine, and we can watch some neat boats go floating by. Had a lovely lunch in an Italian place we visit here, where there's a grocery store as well. It's as much fun to wander around looking at items that I have no idea what you'd use them for, but the names & pictures are intriguing. Also the place has a family bakery as part of it...so of course we have to bring home goodies. Take care, and thanks for your visit & comment.

I thought I'd already left some love on this post for you, Char (?). So strange, but even though Halloween is totally not my thing, these backgrounds are phenomenal! And your layering is just as scrumptious as ever! Beautiful work, as always, my friend! XOXO
