The Mixed Media Card Challenge #12 Collage

Hi Friends! It's that time again for a new challenge! This month the challenge is "Collage" , with an optional element "Frame".

I started this card by adding Crate Paper to the base in torn pieces. I added gel medium to adhere them. I added a small frame around the words. I then added white acrylic paint aver the top of that. When all that was dry I used two different Tim Holtz stencils with molding paste, let dry and inked over the top of the paste and around the edges. My big hello die cut is from Winnie and Walter. I love how big it is! I watercolored a few butterflies and that's it!

I'm sorry I've been MIA, I've been busy with a surprise I will post on Saturday, and watching this munchkin! See that sticker she has in her hands? That's the number 11 , for 11 months old. Her Mom put it on her dress and she promptly ripped it off and put it in her mouth, as she does with everything lol! Her Mom and Dad are going to New York and I will be watching her Thursday -Sunday this week.

She is finally feeling better, and is the best, and sweetest baby. Has a wonderful disposition just like her mom it. She's always smiling and happy. I can't believe she will be 1 on June 21st!

I hope you have a fabulous week! Hugs, Char

I know two little girls who would get along famously if we weren't living a country apart ~ haha!! Your mixed media project is beautiful. So many wonderful layers. You're right too, the big hello is terrific!

Love all the techniques, textures & color on this pretty & cheery card. That huge sentiment is very striking against the colors & shapes of the background. Perfect. Great card, and looks like lots of fun to create. Also enjoy seeing the darling pictures of your little cutie. She looks like she would just be a real happy little one, and so cuddly. Lucky you to have her for so many days to just have tons of fun. Enjoy. TFS & Hugs too.
