Missing You

Hi Friends!

I started off , of coarse with a water colored background in Purple and blue. When I first put on the color it looked so dark, but when dry it softened up. That's what I LOVE about watercolors, you never know what it will turn out like! The sentiment is from Altenew and I invested in some pretty sequins. I say invest because as far as sequins go they a little pricey but so pretty! I got 4 different colors. If someone knows how to stop the static on sequins, can you please share? It drives me crazy lol

Char this card is so beautiful! I wonder if putting a piece of dryer sheet into their storage container would help at all with the static cling in the sequins? I haven't tried it yet though....

Oh, this is beautiful, Char! I LOVE the watercolor background. So fun and so pretty, and such a gorgeous color combo. Love the flowers and love the pop of the black splatters. And those sequins are really gorgeous. I've heard that a dryer sheet can help with the static problem... might be worth a try. :)

What a beautiful result, including the pricey embellishments. ;) LOL
I've avoided buying those sequins from Lucy's for that very reason. too much money, when I can get pretty sequins elsewhere for less. :)

Happy Mother's Day, Char, and have a beautiful weekend!

What a stunningly soft & dreaming background for the beautiful die cut. Love the sequins. Did you try the pickme up stick thing for the sequins? That works pretty well for me...dab a bit of glue on something non-stick, pick up the sequin with the 'sticky stuff' on the tool, dab in the tiny spot of glue, and put it where you want it to go. THen use the plastic part of the tool to help it release. Hope this is what you meant by static...Happy Mother's Day and TFS.
