CAS(E) this Sketch Guest Designer

Hi Friends! Today I'm the Guest Designer at CAS(E) this sketch! Unfortunately, I have been very sick since Christmas. I have had three attacks that were unbearable. I went to the doctor yesterday and had an Ultrasound and it's my Gallbladder. I have stones and will have to have surgery. I didn't get my cards to Chrissy in time (yesterday,) was in horrible pain. I was a bit better today but sleeping alot and the heating pad is my best friend! Anyway , that's it for now....going back to bed :-(. Thanks Chrissy, I'm so honored!!

This technique is done by expermenting! I used a brayer and paint on an embossing folder. You don't run the embossing folder thru any machines, you just brayer the paint onto the folder put the paper inside and run your fingers over the folder to spread the paint. I added three different colors of paint each time. I think I really like this technique!

Hugs, Char

Charlene, So very sad to hear you are having gallstones. I've been told this is EX-tremely painful and that one is nauseated too. I hope you can get this handled super quick. (I had my g/b removed, but didn't have stones). Good luck. Loved your bright fun card. Sounds like a fun technique, and one I'd like to try. It sure made a pretty pattern and very colorful. Best wishes to feel much better really soon. TFS & Hugs

Sorry to hear about your gall bladder problems as I will be keeping you in prayer.
I was wondering if the top part of the card was cut and then popped up with dots etc. as it looks like two separate pieces. I can't wait to try this technique. Thanks fro any help that you can give me.

Oh, Char, I know your pain! I suffered with gallstones and finally removed my gallbladder laparoscopically. I hope you can find some relief, either surgically, or ask your doctor for a muscle relaxant (shot) that should help. I'm glad you were able to share your gorgeous takes on the sketch! Take care of yourself!

Beautiful cards, Char! It's wonderful to have you as our guest this week. I hope you are back to full health very soon. (Two of my friends had their gallbladders removed just two weeks ago. It seems to be a common problem at the moment! And a very painful one!)
