Visions of sugar plums day 4

Hi Friends! It's day 4 of Visions of sugar plums!! It's been so much fun! Up today is a wall hanging I made for a friend!

My friend Maria sent me a prize that I won on her blog and included in the package was a piece of corrugated cardboard. I thought It would make the perfect backdrop for this! I started by trimming it down, adding some Tim Holtz PP to the background, then I dry brushed some white paint over the pp. I cut some snow with Simon Says stitched slopes and hills dies, then added glitter. The snowflakes are Lawn Fawn stitched snowflakes. I glittered them up too. The pine tree is a die from IO. The joy sentiment is a die from PTI called Wet Paint Holiday. The tree is cut with my Cameo and colored with Distress Inks and then glittered. The snowman  is a Tim Holtz die and is cut from Grunge Paper, colored with distress inks and glittered also.
Now I'm sending you to the next stop on the blog hop!

To the fabulous Regina!

Love how you mixed and matched so many different brands of wintery dies. Use what you have is fast becoming my motto, after all, we purchased it because we must have really liked it, right?! Your little wall hanging is so adorable and I would have to keep it displayed all Winter long. TY for sharing :)

SOOO cute!!! I keep looking at it and I can't figure out what element I love the most. They all go so perfectly together and I really like that you added the pine branch at the top...that's adorable!
What a lucky friend to have you in her life. This is such a thoughtful gift.

Such a CUTE wallhanging, and not just for Christmas. In my part of the U.S., we have winter and snow for 5 months of the year. Could definitely use this design for a card too!!! :-)

I like all the different techniques you used, and the variety of products. You made them all look GREAT together. Just the right amount of color too!

Thank you for sharing your talents during this blog hop.
