City Crafter Challenge Blog 223 Home is where the heart is

Hi everyone! This week its my turn to host at City Crafter and I've chosen the Theme

Make a card or project using a house
I fell in love with this house! Its adorable! You don't have to make a Christmas house, any house is great!

Well I had a mini album made for this challenge, but when I went to take a picture of it..... it was no where to be found!! How could a mini album just disapear? I have looked high and low...it will show up when I'm not looking right? So I had to scurry and make a card :-) I started by embossing a piece of watercolor paper and water colored it with some distress inks. The houses are cut with my Cameo. I also ran the houses through my big shot with a wood grain embossing folder and then water colored those. After everything was done I couldn't find a place to put the sentiment and thats when vellum comes in handy :-)

Too stinkin' cute! Really love that woodgrain texture, and this palette screams, "Let's play!" I also love your vellum, sentiment banner to bits!

Well, your scurrying paid off - that is one cute card! (And I hate to say, but I do understand how a mini album can disappear - does your craft room look like mine?)

I HATE when that happens - which seems to be a lot! But I am so happy you made this Beautiful card! The watercoloring really makes it I think!
