Best Friend

Hi Friends! I hope your week is going great! It's almost over :-) I love my weekends but they don't last very long...but I always look on the bright side....at least I have a job right? Otherwise I wouldn't be able to buy my card making goodies and that would be horrible!...I made this card with PTI's newest Make it market kit. I used the Memento Luxe . I LOVE these inks! Their pigment inks and go on so nice and crisp!

I hope I have some time to make some cards tonight, I got the MRI back on my shoulder...that's a story for another day , huh Sue ?lol!! All is good...no damage or tears....just frozen shoulder.... the radiologist said you don't have to do anything they just happen to women your age .........really? I'm hearing that a lot lately and must say I'm not fond if it lol!! I hope you have a great weekend! The weather is coming down to around 99 and the air is actually cool in the morning....I'm getting so excited for fall, my favorite time of the year! Hugs, Char

Wonderful card - absolutely love the colors you used! (I have this kit, too, it's very cool!) Oh, don't you hate the age thing? Frozen shoulder, now that's something I've not experienced yet. Take good care of yourself!

GORGEOUS card, Char. I love all those flags and shapes, it's really creative. You always manage to inspire me!

I hear you on that shoulder thing. They also told me "it just happens to women your age". You'd think I'm a major league ball pitcher or something...LOL. I found out last summer that my rotator cuff is torn, but I don't want to have the surgery, so I just do the physical therapy and keep it strong, and deal with the pain. Ibuprofen is my friend!

Thanks for sharing, and of course for stopping by to say hello.

This is so vivid and colorful, Char!! Your design is fabulous!! I'm very sorry to hear that your shoulder is frozen. Imagine that happening in the heat!! It makes no sense. It's pretty scary if it's another one of those things that just "happens." Like I heard once: "Who said retirement is the golden years? It's the RUSTY years!" Not that you are near that old! Anyway, I hope it feels better soon!! Hugs, Darnell

This card is awesome! I love the updated quilt look. So fresh and modern! Love it! Years ago I used to quilt. But that was before my fingers developed arthritis. I guess it was my age too. ;) but seriously...Didn't you want to kick him when he said that?

Ooh, what a bright and beautiful card. Such a wonderful design.

Yep, I got a frozen shoulder once. I think it was from reaching really high for a long period of time while removing wallpaper. I had to have therapy. Y
