City Crafter Challenge # 212 Whats cooking!

Hi Friends! It's Anna's turn to host this week at City Crafter and she has chosen the theme :

What's Cooking (make a project with everything related to the kitchen, e.g. apron, kitchen, utensils, recipe, cupcakes etc)

I chose to go with a coffee cup as it ties in with The card concepts challenge :-). The background stripe is made by taping off your paper with washi tape and using a Tim holtz blending tool and ink, move over the paper with an even coat of ink. I kept doing it until it was a solid color. The cup and sentiment is from Reverse Confetti.

I'm also playing along with The card challenge!! The theme there is coffee! I think it falls under Freestyle Collage

Our Guest Designer is Gosia Maciejko ...please stop by and see her awesome designs! And be sure to check out City Crafter for the other Design Teams great designs too :-)

Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by!
 Hugs, Char

LOVE the look of rubbed, distress inks! It's one of my favorite ways to add depth to a page, but I don't do it enough on cards. Thanks for the GORGEOUS inspiration, Char!

Gorgeous card! I adore the stripes that you created - great color - almost has a denim look/feel and works great with the red & white ribbon! Isn't the pretty 'frothed heart' design just the best? Thanks so much for choosing to share your card with us this week at the Card Concept Challenge :)
