Life.Love.Life

Hi Friends! Hope your having a great week! This is my last post before my trip.I an nervous and excited at the same time! I have a few scrapbook stores scheduled on my way to Seattle lol!!

I decided to get a bit artsy on this card. I started with some vintage card stock from papertrey. I used the same technique as the Christmas card below. It's such a fun technique! And I also like the fact that you can control your colors by drying in between and adding more if desired, or spraying with water to tone down :-). The flower stamp is one I picked up at a LSS. The side is embossed and then I took a ink tool and added chocolate brown. The sentiment is new from PTI. I embossed the sentiment on vellum. Love the look!

Have a wonderful day!!! Hugs, Char

Wow Char, this is stunning!! Gorgeous piece of work. I love everything about it. The background colours are done so beautifully and I love the white flowers and sentiment on top of it. The edge on the right is the finishing piece. Without it it would just not be finished. Well done! Hugs and.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
