City Crafter Week #159 One stamp 2 ways

Hi Friends! This week Kirsty is our hostess at City Crafter!!
and she picked the theme:
One stamp two ways (create 2 projects with the same stamp) !

For my 1st card I embossed the stamped flowers and water colored them in

And for this second card I just stamped the flowers with ink and cut them out...very easy!

Sorry I've been MIA....My daughter was due to get married in October. They decided they are tired of the long distance commuting and eloped Saturday!!! I spent the weekend in beautiful Lake Tahoe and the weather was perfect!! And I have never seen my dear daughter so happy!!! Pictures to follow...after I find some time to edit :-)

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day, I sure did!!! Hugs, Char

Hi sweetie! No need to apologize, I was MIA too and you had a very good and happy reason to be gone :) I'm so happy for you all, your beautiful daughter looks so happy.
Your cards are both gorgeous! I love the colouring you did and the embellishing on the first one and the yummie bow of the second is so beautiful.

big hug,
Wendy

Hello Char! Well, congratulations to your daughter and her new hubby! That is some exciting news. :)

Your cards are sweet, with those Mary Engelbreit-style flowers. Always loved those kinds of homespun flowers. :)

Thanks a bunch for having me as your guest this week!

Well big congrats!!!! That is happy news! I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures!

Your cards are gorgeous! What a fun challenge. I am finding it hard to create one card for assignments...let alone a double duty. :-) You always inspire me!

Oh, what a surprise that must have been for your daughter to elope. I guess that means you won't have to plan a huge wedding. You can relax instead. LOL Great photos.

Love your sweet cards...pretty ribbon and I really like the button/burlap treatment on the first card, too.
