A Crate Paper Feature Focus "COLLAGE"

Hi Everyone! I hope your having a wonderful week? Crate Paper is having a five-day marathon of design team projects based on a topic/technique that takes to highlighting an ongoing crafty trend. This week they have centered on Collage. The feature will publish every month. Also, as a fun addition, each week,  Crate will host a giveaway as well!! For this card I did alot of fussy cutting, which is very relaxing for me. I cut 4 strips of different patterned paper for the background. I took a journal card from the Random collection and cut around the Zig Zag so I could add Different paper behind it for interest. Then I layered a collage grouping on top of the journal card and a fun little doily and brad on the side.

For this next card I used alot of the Random Collection . I also cut a Lace top tag with my Silhouette and sanded it to distress. I layered Random chipboard pieces on top for a collage look. I'm defiantly not a CAS card maker. When I'm designing a card I can't seen to stop piling on the embellies, so collage style works well for me! :-)
