Shabby Challenge #64 !!!

Hi! and welcome to this week's Shabby Challenge!!  I'm so excited to be this week's Shabby Host!!!

This week Just Rite Stamps is our sponsor and I LOVE their stamps!! THANK YOU JUST RITE STAMPS!!! I decided to use Forever Friends Set. I stamped the frame with embossing ink and used Terra Cotta embossing powder by Raner. I also inked up the doily. I stripped some cardboard and painted it white and it came out looking like old wood :-) The paper is Girl's paperie. I'm so in  love with this line called Vintage Whimsy I cut the backing off of two pearl buttons and glued them on top of the buttons.

Now on to the challenge: Create a card/project using: 2 patterned papers, 4 buttons, and 6 layers. Easy right?

Hi !!  And a Happy Thursday!! Do you have any plans for Memorial Day? I am just hanging at home crafting.cleaning (ug!) and saving money for vacation in July !!! I am going here

to my favorite place on the Oregon Coast. I hadn't been there for about three years and went in November 2010 and forgot how much I love it there! So for one glorious week I will have this view and cry when I have to come home :-(


Here's a card to share with more of Coco Dingo stamps! I wanted to use this cute rooster! I made it as a tag card with a pocket on the front . I added a ruffle made from crape paper to give it a more country look :-)

I chose the Bird in Flight stamp from Coco Dingo :-). I just love this adorable bird!!! The frame is Pink Paislee. I inked the frame a pink to match the card. The paper is "The Girl's Paperie" The sentiment is Melissa Frances, and the Post card is from Beatrice Jennings

Think Positive !!

Just a quick card with more Pink Paislee :-). Looking at this card I think I really made it for myself. I am on a mission to loose weight and each day is a struggle with eating....so, "Think Positive" as in I CAN DO THIS!, and the "Be Organized" is preparing the foods ahead of time! To many packages and fast foods in the world and I get into a busy mode and it's just faster. It's time to stop! eating lots of fresh veggies and fruits etc... My body is saying......What's this forign food? lol!!!! So, onward and upward right???

This little card is made with a mish mash of products.....Scraps that I had laying on my table.....Some Echo Park (For the record), some Pink Paislee, a piece of the corrugated cardboard I painted and sanded up. The butterfly is K  Co. And there is a little note tucked away in the envelope for the recipient :-)

The Shabby Tea Room Challenge # 60 Sweet Dreams

 Hi!!

And welcome to this week's challenge at  The Shabby Tea Room  ! This week  Debbie is our Hostess and she has chosen the theme "Sweet Dreams." 

The challenge is to

Create card/project with blue, white and a neutral

To make this card I took some cardboard  and pulled off the top layer, sanded it, painted it and sanded it again to give it that distressed Shabby look. Then I ran it thru my Cuttlebug with a nestabilities to frame it. the paper in the background is Melissa Frances. The Happy Day title is MME.
