Happy Friday! Woo Hoo!!! My nights of working late are over...end of the year stuff all done :-) And I received a few pictures I ordered for my scrapbook room...and this is one of them :-) Doesn't it remind you of Websters Pages? It is sooooo my style! You can't see it in the picture but it had glitter all over the roses.

And I know, I know another Valentines card lol!! You can tell me to stop anytime (Wink :-) )))

I thought I'd share a picture of this wonderful waterfall about 40 minutes from my house. It's called McCloud Falls and there are three , the upper falls, the middle falls, and of coarse the lower :-) This one is the middle. I plan on taking a drive next weekend to this wonderful place! Maybe I will get some better pictures...But this time of year there might be some snow...But that's O.K. :-)

And this Cool tree house was built by some famous guy (Can't remember his name) but he stayed in Redding and built this out of twigs...It's at Turtle Bay and such a fun place to see :-) I hope you enjoy some of my pictures of where I live...I love it here. There is so much beauty and I want to share!

  Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Won't you come along and play with this challenge this week The Shabby Tea Room . It's fun to do a challenge that makes you go outside your box! Believe it ...or not white and one color was hard for me :-)

Happy Thursday!!

I'm sticking to my resolution to use up my older paper, and as much as I hate to admit it....it might take me about 10 years to do so :-) ! This card is made with Pink Paislee paper. The lace doily is Martha Stewart and the label and stamp are Paper Trey. Darn that Papertrey for coming out with new stamps every month :-) Tomorrow night is date night with the girls! Since it's raining I think we will take them to Michaels 1st. They always have cute little necklace kits for each holiday to make with the girls. Then it's off to Barnes and Noble for some book time...My daughter Destiny will be 29  on the 20th. OMG!!!! I HAVE an almost 30 year old!! How could this possibly be?? She wants to go out of town for the day on Saturday. I'm thinking Sacramento would be fun..It's a 2 1/2 hour drive but she loves the Spaghetti factory down there, so maybe we will hit a few malls...maybe a scrapbook store...if she will let me lol!!! (A few pieces of new paper won't hurt me right??)

Have a great weekend friends! Char

Hi Friends! How's your week going? Mine's so busy at work...but busy's good right? :-) My daughter broke up with her current boyfriend of 4 years and decided to do the on-line dating thing. She paid for it for three months and found a really nice guy. So...she's like...Mom do you want to try it? I have time left do you want it? I'm thinking...Nooooooooooooo lol!!! What do you girls think? Have you ever had any friends do it??  And if so how did it go? I can't even think of dating again lol!! I want the perfect guy to just be there lol!!

Anyway...

This card is made using Chunky Hearts from Magistical Memories. I love these hearts!! And I also used Fancy Book Plates . I covered both with paper from Pink Paislee. The card is embossed and then I drybrushed over the top and then sprayed with Clearsnaps Vanilla Shimmer I really LOVE the finish that it puts on my projects!

And this card has the Magistical Memories "Bubble Tree" I painted it and sanded a bit. The paper is also, Pink Paislee...I really liked this line. I think it was last year but I still have lots :-) That brad that looks orange is actually red...go figure!

My New Years resolution is to USE UP MY OLD PAPER, or at least try!! :-)

Have a great week!! Char

Good Morning!

Recipe for a Happy New Year

Author: Unknown

take twelve whole months, clean them thoroughly of all bitterness, hate, and jealousy. Make them just as fresh and clean as possible.

Now cut each month in to twenty-eight, thirty, thirty-one different parts, but don't make up the whole batch at once. Prepare it one day at a time out of these ingredients.

Mix well into each day one part of faith, one part of patience, one part of courage, and one part of work.

Add to each day one part of hope, faithfulness, generosity, and kindness. Blend with one part prayer, one part meditation, and one good deed. Season the whole with a dash of good spirits, a sprinkle of fun, a pinch of play, and a cupful of good humor.

Pour all of this into a vessel of love. Cook thoroughly over radiant joy, garnish with a smile, and serve with quietness, unselfishness, and cheerfulness.

Your final results may vary depending on your attitude.

Have a Happy New Year!

Well I started out with my attitude being that this year will be awesome!! Can't be any worse than last year, right? Well I spent all weekend in bed sick on New Years . But I won't be sayin... is this a sign of what's to come? NO NO NO I won't say that, instead I'll say..I'm just getting it all out of my system to start fresh!!

I did manage to make this card with more of Noel Mignon's "Very Virginia kit". The "love" is Hambly rub-ons.

Have a wonderful week!! Hugs, Char
