Hi Friends! Today I want to share a card  I made for Magistical Memories. Amy has designed the cutest chipboard! This Circle Tab is so fun! I love the design and it's perfect for anything circle!

The paper on the bottom is cardstock that I embossed, then I took a paint brush and swiped an ink pad and dry brushed over the top and then I sprayed with Smooch Vanilla Shimmer. I have never tried this product but WOOZA!! I like the fact that it sprays on evenly and the shimmer is so so pretty! And it dries fast!! A plus :-)
The paper on top is October Afternoon and Melissa Frances. The snowflake is also Melissa Frances and I glittered it up with some stickles.

Have you started your Christmas cards yet? I'm working on it!

Hugs! And Thank You for your wonderful encouraging words about my brother. You girls are the greatest!

Seasons Greetings

The girls on Thanksgiving! We celebrated at my ex-husband's family's house and it was a good time! Good food and wonderful family! Dave and Laura have a farm. so we had chickens. pigs, horses, goats...etc...we had a fire going outside. I loved it!

I had some very bad news this weekend. After celebrating Thanksgiving my daughter and I were driving home and I got a call from my nephew.....My last brother passed away on Thanksgiving Day...I talked to him the day before and he told me he was terminal...I was going to see him this weekend....but GOD had other plans for him. I came home and screamed at the top of my lungs that it wasn't right that he took the last of my original family. But you see....I am selfish...my brother has been suffering for a few years and his lungs were gone. He didn't have the quality of life and was tired. I am sad beyond sad. I have had 4 losses this year....two brothers, and ex-husband and Tasha. I am DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I truthfully have to force myself to get up and keep moving as I just want to sleep. I was debating weather to share my sadness, and decided that you are my friends and my blog is for sharing the good and the bad, and the sad....hold your loved one's close and cherish EVERY moment you have with them...:-)

Hi, and a HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU!
One of my other hobbies is painting. I have painted for years, but not so much since scrapbooking. I love all the crafts that I do and there just isn't enough time in the day to do all, but I made this little gut to go with my collection of other nutcrackers. I have a Christmas one and a Birdhouse maker. If I paint them here and there I'll get them done :-)

I just love his big red nose, and scruffy mustache :-).

Wishing all of my blogs friend the best Thanksgiving! Enjoy your family and friends :-). I will be going to my ex-brother In laws house. Since my husband passed away he is on a mission to get everyone closer, which is a wonderful thing!! I don't miss the cooking this year...but I will make a 7 layer salad that my son loves :-).....
Thank you for the honor of getting to know you. I feel blessed!!!! Hugs, Char

Hi Friends!

It's been raining here and so so windy that I've been doing nothing but scrapping. I'm in heaven lol! I still need to go see the new Harry Potter movie but want to wait a few days for the crowds to settle down. I made this card for the card crop at Scrapbook Heaven...It's all about cards!

This card was made with the new Melissa Frances Christmas paper. I am in love with the softness of it and the pretty images.

Next is a banner I made for my friend Heidi. She is the owner of our LSS. She is moving her store to a new location this week and I made this as a store warming present :-) It's made with lots of Melissa Frances paper and the letters are Pink Paislee . The Merry banner is Jenni Bowlin.

Have a wonderful Sunday! Hugs, Char

There's not doubt about it..were starting the Christmas season!! And I'm in love with Amy's new Chunky Scallop Frame. It is such a great size. You can make a card as I have, or another great idea would be to make an adorable wall hanging by stacking three and linking them together with ribbon. Adding your kids pictures in them, or a cute little scene of the holiday's.

Have a wonderful day!! Char

Lazy Sunday

Just hanging out being lazy...it's nice to do sometimes. Destiny is over studying for a math, biology, and horticulture test next week. It's nice to have her here hanging out :-) When your kids grow up and get busy with boyfriends, school, etc...you don't see them as much. We talk on the phone about 5 times a day though. I'm very proud of my kids. She will be starting her nurse Prerequisites next semester, and John passed his state testing to be an industrial electrician. Great kids and that is my greatest accomplishment! :-)

Here's a little Birthday card made with more Crate paper :-)! I sure love this line!!

Well, have a wonderful week friends! Hugs, Char

Warning : Heavy Pics :-)

Hi :-)...I'm back from my Ocean trip and had the best time EVER!!! I've downloaded a few pictures of the trip lol!!

I made this card for a friend of mine's little boy to send to the North Pole this year :-)

This is where we stopped on a drive to the Natural Bridge and saw the whales. We were pretty high up and a great view to look down on them.

This was a little part of the Pacific Crest Trail and I had to go in...It reminded me of Alice in Wonderland...But walking into the trees was a little bit spooky, but awesome at the same time!

It went on for a long way and was dark...I didn't venture in to far! I know...Chicken! lol!

Sorry the pictures weren't great of the whales but hopefully you can make them out. I've been going to the coast forever and this is the 1st time to see them. Their were about 15 of them and they stayed in the same area for about an hour 1/2. It was truly spectular!!!

Did a little antique shopping. Carol, who owns the B&B has lots of goodies in this store !

And this is what they call the "Natural Bridge" AWESOME!!!!!!!

We stopped at Harris state Beach and this little critter walked right up to me and wanted to be fed! Talk about tame! I found him some peanuts :-)

Some pictures of the ocean view at Carol and Larry's house where us girl's stayed. So, So pretty

did I mention I didn't want to leave? 8 nights there this summer...I can' wait!

Just a picture of Hwy 199 on the way home. Jedadiah State park is home to some large redwood trees and so pretty!

This is the Smith River that we drove past on the way home. The river was roaring and spectular. The pictures don't do it justice.

On the way home I made the Girls stop by my FAVORITE PARK. It's located in Ashland Oregon and no matter what time of the year ot is always spectular. Not sure of the man's name that designed it but he's the same man that designed the Golden Gate Parl in San Francisco. It runs about 3 or 4 miles , has 2 or three duck ponds walking trails, streams running thru it, and the biggest diversity of trees and flowers I've ever seen. It was raining...but I got wet and loved every minute of it!

I loved every minute of this trip and I am so blessed to live in such a beautiful area. Thanks for sharing it with me!

Hugs, Char
