World card Making Day

World Card Making Day is THIS Saturday !!Can you believe it's almost October? What are your plans? Do you have any?

I went to Paradise  scrapbook boutique and picked up a few new items. I am so IN LOVE with Crate Paper's new line. The colors are just perfect.

And Karen always has cute little goodies packaged up that I can't resist :-)

And this is the mess in my garage that I have to deal with after cleaning out the scrap room lol!!!  Can you believe that I had all these boxes that I still had stuff in? I really can see i have a BIG addiction!!!

Moxie Fab Challenge

When I started this card I was going to make it in the challenge colors...more autumn..there are the yellows and the turquoises, reds etc...but I kept with the design and these were my Mother's colors...and this card is  all about celebrating her!

Hope your weeks going great! I am watching the girls tonight and couldn't be more excited!!

I made this card with my Mom in mind. She's gone now.  It was 4 years in August,  but she use to have a quilt on the bed in her spare bedroom that I just loved. It brought warmth and love. My Mom also belonged to a quilting club and those ladies (most of them in their late 70's and into their 80's would take turns at each other's houses and they would have this big frame up and all sit around it and hand quilt. I loved watching them! Mind you hand sewing isn't my thing (unless it's on a card :-)) but I appreciated their art and they even made me one that I will cherish forever and hand down to my daughter.

Rahh !!!

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm going down to a local fair to judge in the catagory of scrapbooking. I did it last year and it was fun! I spent the weekend being lazy and making cards, it rained so it was perfect to stay indoors.

For this card I used my Cricut for the gate and a combination of Echo Park and Bo Bunny paper. I love Bo Bunny Hooligan paper with the monsters :-)

It's finally raining here...I know most of you are probably saying, NO RAIN....but I love the first rain after a hot summer...it's cool outside and everything is fresh. I had fun making this card with Nestabilities Pointsettia  fom Spellbinder's. I made the tag under the flower with my Cricut cartridge "Winter Woodland", and the paper is Basic Grey.

Happy Friday!!

It's sunny here today, but is suppose to rain by tonight and all weekend :-(. But I won't complain because I'm just glad the heat is over! I can't wait until the holiday's begin...starting with taking the girls to the pumpkin patch!

So, this weekend will be cleaning and scrappin!! Yeah!!

I made this for the PC call, but it didn't make it :-(. It's a Papertrey template. I couldn't believe how easy this template was to put together and the possibilities are endless. I will most likely use this for a wedding gift that I will give a gift card . I used Webster's Pages patterned paper, and Prima lace. The tag stamp is Papertrey also.

Wow...another post !

You girls aren't use to so many posts anymore....I've been a slacker :-) I made a card last night using October Afternoon's new line "Sea Side", and I can't tell you how much I LOVE all their lines...they make the cutest paper! Don't  u agree? I also used some Papertrey stamps and after organizing do you think I could find my balloon templates? Of coarse not!!! lol!

Hi! I hope your weeks going great ? Mine is! I love it when I have time to make cards :-) Just a quick share today. I made this Halloween card for Magistical Memories blog. I received this web and thought, how fun! I painted the spider web with Black but didn't glitter it as the spiders had glitter. You are going to laugh but I seriously have aratnaphobia(sp?) and even though the spider's arent real I still got the heebie jeebies touching them (my friend told me I belong in the hospital!) lol

Shabby Tea Room challenge

This week I played along with the Shabby Tea room's challenge by Audrey Pettit. Life's been so hectic, but  is calming down, so it will be nice to have time to play along more with these fun challenges!!

The challenge is to make a card that is nature inspired/and or using the color green. I decided to make a baby card using colors that remind me of the outdoors, I brought the ribbon  over the whole bottom of the card  to resemble a vine. I also added a vine at the top with Papertrey stamps. I then cut a second set , cut out the leaves and added on top for dimension.

Hi! hope your having a wonderful weekend! I watched the girls all day yesterday while Kim and Destiny (DD & DIL) went White Water Rafting....mind you, my daughter doesn't swim...so I spent the whole day worrying about them lol! Kim, my DIL fell out of the raft but was O.K....Thank goodness! But they had a great time and will do it again :-) I was the lucky one who got to go to the park with the girls, watch movies, and read to them!

So today , I'm relaxing, doing laundry, getting everything ready for work tomorrow...BIG SIGH!!!! The weekend never lasts very long.

I decided to play and make some things for tomorrow's deadline for the PC call...and I made this card to share. I used my new Cricut Halloween cartridge and the new eyelet spellbinders die cut. And for the back round I just smeared some ink on a craft sheet, sprayed it with water and set the paper in it and pushed it around. It kind of makes a water color look.

Magistical Memories DT Call

I hope that you had a great LONG weekend! I'm just about done with the scrapbook organizing, (yes, 4 days worth), but I need more containers and don't have anywhere to put them. I never thought I'd say...I have too much scrapbook supplies, but after this weekend I'm pretty sure I do !! But...will that stop me from buying more? NEVER LOL!! I did manage a LO today and soon I'll be back to posting regulary :-)

For this LO I used Out on a limb I embossed him 1st and then sprayed him with Tattered Angels. MM has wonderful chipboard and the Tattered Angels is a great compliment to the chipboard!

I also used some Echo park and Girls paperie paper, a Maya Road flower and lots of Tattered Angels.

Oh! And by the way:
Magistical Memories is looking for a few awesome Chipboard Artist that can showcase our chipboard products!! If you LOVE chipboard and use it on layouts, cards & projects then show us what you love to do!!

- Participation in Facebook, Blog and Gallery is a MUST. Participate in our contest, sketches, challenges, leave gallery feedback.

- Promote sponsored Manufactures products.

- Submit work for publication.

- Monthly blog entry.

- Promote Magistical Memories by posting the above layouts/projects on other online galleries and your blog with working links to the store.



Magistical Memories Chipboard Artist will receive -



- Magistical Memories products for your term, shipped in 2 shipments one for the first 3 months and the second for the other 3 months, participation will be rewarded.

- New Products release, your participation will be rewarded.

- Discount off all chipboard orders placed

(* Discount will be reflected in your log in information)

- A permanent gallery with your bio and picture featured in our Design Team Gallery, promotion of your work in our newsletter, on the facebook and blog.

Hi Friends!

I've been missing in action trying to get my scrapbookroom in some sort of order. I have the next four days off and I can finish up! It's hard working full time and I just don't have the energy I used to. What's with that?

I've posted pictures of my vacation....just a few (Ha-Ha), and the girl's Birthday. John and Kim decided since their Birthday's are 1 month apart and they are still young we would do 1 party together and it worked out great!

Here's a card I made with Martha Stewart goodies, and her new spider web punch...

And this cutie is my nephew's baby. Her name is Brooklyn and she is the cutest!

Here's just 1 thing the girl's got for their B'Day's. Princess bikes Yeah! They loved them!

John and Kim made these cakes! I thought they did a terrific job!

Here's some pictures of the bed and Breakfast I stayed in while on vacation. I am going back in November. I really missed it!

I fell in love with these colors, so vibrant! All the flowers at the coast are so gorgeous. I'm sure they love the cool weather.

And this is one room at the B&B. It's a jutebox room.  Larry restores them as a hobby. There must be about 12 or so in here. They are old, carved and so beautiful!

I love this guy! He's in the front yard and sits perfect in front of that big rock.

 Before I went on vacation the girls in the office made me these for my Birthday. Aren't they cute? And they were delicious!
