Hi ! Hope your having a great week! I wanted to share a layout I made of Destiny and my trip to Vegas....Although...notice....I'm nowhere in site lol!! I was the picture taker and it never occurred to either one of us to have someone take pictures of us together ! But we had a wonderful time and Destiny literally walked my feet off! I mean, she'd say...mom let's walk,  that Hotel doesn't look very far...WRONG!!! They are very deceiving! So, in three days we walked that whole strip including all the hotels, the malls, had our makeup done, saw a few shows, and just had a wonderful time! I think our next trip should be Disneyland in December...I love how it snow's down main street...Just magical!

Most of the paper is "The Girl's Paperie". the scallop trim is Magistical Memories. I painted it and drybrushed.

Have a great day! Hugs, Char

Hi! Well I finally went to see "Eat,Pray,Love " and really enjoyed it ! Went with my friends and they liked it to! I was a little leery because it didn't have great reviews, but I'm glad that I did :-)

I've been in the process of cleaning and organizing my scrapbook room and OMG!!!! Seriously, to much stuff!!! I need to have a garage sale! Anyway, I'm making some cards along the way with some older paper. If there's anything that you want but can't find...I'm sure I have it !! Hopefully, I can get my room done this week. I always lack energy after work!

This card is made with Fancy Pants. I really love this paper.

And this one is a mixture of October Afternoon, Dear Lizzy, MME, and the trim is a Spellbinders Die.

Have a great week, and thanks for visiting my blog and leaving sweet comments. They mean alot to me :-) Hugs, Char

I hope your having a great weekend! I never made it to "Eat,drink, pray" last weekend so I'm going tomorrow. My daughter came over to hang out and study, do her laundry last night :-)...So, I made a few cards. I must say that since I've been back from vacation I've had the hardest time getting back into making cards...so, I was happy to have a time span to play!!

I just love this cute little owl from MM . His name is HOOT. I was trying to figure out what to do with him. I decided to 1st emboss him with a Tim Holtz embossing folder. I then sprayed him with Tattered Angels (Coffee Shop)It's kind of a copper color. I added a Melissa Frances Bingo sticker for the body. The paper is Prima and the border is Pink Paislee. I don't ever seem to stick with one line. I always mix and match!

Well, I think I'll spend my evening back in the scraproom. :-)

Happy Monday!
This week I made a LO with these cute bubbles border chipboard . You can find it here Here. It is so versatile. You can use it on a LO, or a card. I chose to spray mine with Tattered Angeles glimmer spray and added different papers behind it to add more color. You can also leave the underneath open also!

Thanks everyone, for your congratulations on my blogversary! The Random Generator picked#4 (Lindsay)!
Congratulations Lindsay! Send me your address and I'll get these goodies out to you!

Have a great week everyone! Hugs, Char

Laura's Sketch #58

Hi All !

This week I wanted to make something different. I got the idea to make my daughter a recipe card when I saw these cute new Melissa Frances kraft tag holders, I thought it would be cute to add a secret receipe inside the pouch!  So  I altered the tag and added lines for the recipe and added a punched kraft sheet at the top. You just pull out the tag and I've written the family secret chocolate cake recipe!

All the paper is Melissa Frances. Papertrey cardstock. Hambly rub-on stitches. If you have some time, join in the challenge this week!

Thanks for visiting!

Happy Friday!

So glad Friday is here! Still feeling under the weather and just can't get in the card making mood. I don't know what's wrong with me. Still on vacation I guess lol

I paper pierced this card with papertrey stamps and ink. I really like their snow white ink with the kraft paper. I hope your weekend is awesome! Tomorrow is the grandkids Birthday party yeah!! Were having them together as their birthday is just 1 month apart. I think their spoiled...between my daughter and I we had to rent a u-haul for their presents :-).

Here I am...back from vacation and  back to reality! When I got home I got a darned Upper respiratory infection...so explains the missing in action :-) I don't know if it was from the weather difference...a 50 degree difference, or what. But better tonight :-) I haven't even downloaded any of my pictures , boy am I slacking!

Lisa Johnson made this flower with cardstock and Papertrey Ink flower dies. I had to try it. You cut out the flower and crumple it. Then basically you pull apart the layers of card stock and pierce a hole in the middle and add a button. It's really different and makes a cute shabby flower.

Both cards are Basic Grey Olivia collection. I really love the colors.

Thanks for stoppin by!  Char
