Home from vacation .....tomorrow :-(

I'm sitting here watching this view from my room at the B&B my friends own. Carol and Larry are so so lucky to have this special place on the Oregon Coast in a town called Brookings. There view is spectacular. I used to come here every year...but with all the losses I've had in the last 4 years, I haven't been here. My 1st time back and it's sooooooo what I needed. I had a wonderful B'Day yesterday. Went to dinner with friends and Carol brought me some yummy cheesecake last night! Yum!! I even managed to find a little scrapbook store here that was so cute and carried so much variety! I just don't know how I manage to spend hours in a scrapbook /stamp store :-)

I'm on my way down the the beach one last time before I leave for home in the morning...It's 70 here and 113 at home. If I didn't have the grandkids and a good job at home...I would move to a cooler place.! I will post more pictures when I get home...under the air conditioner lol!!

Here's a card that I made with Basic Gray paper and the Love stamp is Papertrey. Yes...I did bring scrapbook stuff on vacation lol!!! CARDS is having a challenge..."Cards with pearls" and I thought I would submit these two as they are all love and pearls!

Well it's my last post for about a week 1/2. I am leaving in the morning for some much needed R&R AND cooler weather :-).

I made this LO for Magistical Memories. This is the July sketch by the awesome Tina. I pretty much stayed true to the sketch. I forgot...It's my 2 year anniversary in blogville. And I usually have a drawing for some blog candy! So, when I get back we will do that :-)

Hi ! Just a quick post today to share a LO I made for Magistical Memories DT. The sketch is from "Got Sketch" . They have some wonderful sketch's to help my creativity along :-). I used lots of Sassafrass Lass and the star circle is Magistical Memories. Now if someone can teach me how to take a god LO picture I'd be all set...I have the worst time !!Only 4 days of work left and Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it's off to vacation I go lol!!!! I'm getting so excited! The weather here is 102 today and the weather at the coast is 62 today. Ummm...where would you rather be?

Kazan's Sketch #56

I hope that you had a wonderful 4th ! We had some wonderful fireworks this year. They were spectacular!! My ex-husband passed away unexpectedly on Father's day so on Saturday we had a big celebration of life -barbecue in his honor. We had about 60 people come and old friends and family I hadn't seen in years, so it was very nice :-) Heres a card I made for this week's challenge at 2 Sketch's for you. I used Papertrey Ink stamps. 7 Gypsies and Making Memories paper.

Pure Love

For this LO I used Magistical Memories Potty People for the girls, the tree is real wood..it's very thin so I could use my Cricut to cut it out and it worked great. MME, My Little Shoebox, The Girl's Paperie, Echo Park, OA, Jillibean Soup paper on here. Thanks so much for looking and have a great 4th of July!!!

Happy 4th!

O.K. Where's my OLD blogger? I like the new picture uploader but my alignment button won't let me change to start typing at the left. Grrr......!! I made this card 6 month ago and never posted it. I've been a busy girl making cards again to submit. But wanted to post before the weekend. Where's my patriotism? I just realized I haven't posted any 4th of July cards lol !

These are pictures of Chuka (Tasha's Dog) Jimmy, Tasha's Fiance bring's her in to work once a week for visitation rights! After all, we are her grandma's! She gets so excited when she gets here. At 1st it was sad because she would go sit by Tasha's door, but now she doesn't...she seems back to her old self and we girls LOVE her SO MUCH!!!! She stays the day with us and I think it's healing for us to :-)
