Birds and I !!

I just love all the cute little birds the manufacturers are carrying lately. This card was made with the new line of Crate paper. Not only do they have cute birds and birdhouses, they have cute trees and some cute animal paper, glitter die cuts etc...can't wait to play more!

And this card was made with Papertrey's new line of tea pot stamps. I thought they would come in handy to make friends and co-workers cards with little tea bags attached when they were feeling under the weather !

When will these Mondays stop LOL?????

Monday just seems to come so fast!! I wish I had a time span of a week to do nothing but craft!!

I got my new set of stamps from Papertrey, and some new goodies from Maya Road ( Little Chipboard Tags) and Fancy Pants Paper and thought of my friends in Canada....with their bad weather....Here's hoping for some sunshine!!

And this card was made with Lily Bee Design paper. I LOVE this paper. Very french!

Awww....cooler weather back!!

It is as it should be....spring temperatures are back!!! I'm just not ready to melt yet :-) !! I sure am enjoying my flowers ..I was tempted to show you more of them, but decided to give you mercy!!!

Here's a frame I made with Pink Paislee paper. I decopaged it and then the tree is Riff Raff that I pained with a brown acrylic and then sprayed Tattered Angels on it. I don't think you can see the sparkle it adds, but I really like it ! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!!

HOT,HOT,HOT !!!

I'm back from my mini vacation. I went to Sacramento to visit my brother. It was very nice ! We have been having record highs. In the 90's for April that's unheard of !!! I posted a few pictures of the sky in front of my house last night and of my roses. When I left Saturday morning they were buds and when I got back they were all open :-( !!


Here's a card that I experimented with. I made it for my friend Charlene ( I know, I know same name ! ) She's a sweetheart, and someone I met blogging!! I don't make stamped cards a lot but I thought I'd try in honor of her! She does an awesome job, she's very talented!!!! You can see her work at http://willowandpaisley.typepad.com/willow_paisley/

So for this card I took Papertrey cardstock and my copic markers and started coloring the back round with a light blue and the blender pen. Then I stamped the tree and thought it needed dimension, so I went to Michael's and found a tiny flower punch for $1.00 (That's my kind of deal!) Then I added glitter to the flowers! The tree reminds me of a dogwood tree.

And this card I used Papertrey cardstock ( I seem to use it on everything !!) A picture from Crafty Secrets. I love the colors on the picture and the kids playing! I used an embossing folder and my cuttlebug, a Melissa Frances Rub-on, which I think that the saying is perfect for the picture.

My Roses. I need to cut some for the house. These have the best fragrance. Their called "Baby Face".

A few cards to share and Easter Pictures!!

The weather was perfect and of coarse Liberty puts everything in her mouth!! I took a ton of pictures.....I'd better get busy scrapping!!

This card was made with all Papertrey. Their Vintage card stock,, Itty Bitty polka dot paper, and stamps.

And this card I embossed the card stock, and used Little Yellow Bicycle paper and glitter border, and Jilly bean journaling tag.

And this card was done with K & Co paper, the candle and Happy Birthday tag is Creative Imaginations, and the spinner is Tim Holtz

HAPPY EASTER !!

Just 1 card today!! Enjoying the Grandkids and beautiful weather. I hope that everyone else is too!!!

My yards starting to bloom !

I was outside today enjoying the yard! My roses haven't bloomed yet but have a bunch of buds! Roses, tulips and Daisy's are my favorite...Oh, who am I kidding I love all flowers!! Wanted to share!!

Here's a picture of my Daughter, Destiny....She's going to dinner with her boyfriend tonight...so I thought....I'd snapp a quick pic!!

And my Son, John....that's whose house I'll be at tomorrow...is the Dad of Jasmine and Liberty! I can't seem to wrap my head around how old my kids are getting!! 26 and 27...just a short skip to 30 lol!!! I am so proud of both of them. They are great kids with good jobs and John and his wife Kim are the BEST parents!!! I Can't ask for anything more!!

Hippity Hop !!!

Happy Easter!!! I'm looking forward to seeing those sweet grand babies on Sunday!! Were going to my son's house. Since the grandkids, all the Holiday's are so much fun again!!! What are you doing for Easter? Hopefully spending it with family!!

I bought this cute little print from Kelly Ray Roberts. http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=46872 I just love her style and colors she uses in her artwork. And I especially like the saying "gratitude Surrounds" I had it framed and It's going up in my scrap room. sorry about the glare...the glass is shiny!!
