I am TRULY blessed....

For having such wonderful friends....and that means you :-). It seems like in our life we are lucky to have a handful of true friends and I have that ....and then I have met some truely wonderful women on my blog and visiting other blogs :-) There are so many talented crafter's out there who give of themselves in sharing there creation's and that is truely awesome!! I just want to say Thank You!!


One of those friends I'm taking about is my friend Tasha. She is 26 and she has an extremely rare cancer....It's T-Cell Lymphoma/Leukemia and it's non-hodgekins. She is in Intensive Care on life support, as she got a blood infection from her port and also pneumonia. She had just finished a chemo treatment and her body's imnune system was already comprimised . I am so worried about her........so please send her good thoughts today , or a little prayer

Happy Friday!!

This is a little card that I made last night with some scraps. I used a cute stamp I just got from Backpourch Memories. The owl is Autumn Leaves, the moon is Cosmo Cricket, and the pink trim is a design I cut from Pink Paislee paper and used my Cricut. The rub-on is Melissa Frances.

I get to watch the girls tomorrow!! Very exciting!! But I'll be back this weekend with more to share. I hope that everone has a wonderful weekend!!

As I was driving home last night I had to stop and take a picture of these pretty clouds! By the time I found a place to pull over this is all that was showing, I didnt get the whole effect but underneath the billowy ones were dark clouds and it was so pretty!!

Awww....Grandkids!!!

Just a quick card to share today. I made it using Melissa Frances paper, Martha stewart punch, and felt, and K & Co embellishments.

I can't begin to tell you what they mean to me.....But those of you who have them know :-). They just warm my heart to no end, and cheer me up like no other!!! I watched these guys last week and Jasmine is sitting here in her toy box showing me all her toys!! And Libby below is already 7 months old :-(. The changes in the 1st year are just so incrediable and so fast!! She needs to slow down!!

Just a quick share......

This little card was made with more My Mind's eye, and the.. well.....Ill call it a carriage because that is what it looks like to me...with my Cricut, and the rub-ons are Melissa Frances, and Crate paper. I also used a Martha Stewart punch.

And another card I made with :My Mind's eye paper", Hambly rub-on's, Melissa Frances Flower, and prima flower.

Just wanted to share this adorable cabinet I found while shopping in cute Mt. Shasta!! It was a steel at $45.00. I'm not sure what I'm going to put in it....Probably some cute trinkets!!

Well....Its Friday :-)

I made this Thank You card for all of you! I so appreciate you visiting me!!! It's made with the new My Mind's eye paper.

I only worked three days this week....but it felt like 5 :-). I'm glad that the weelend is here!! The weather is nice and sunny....so I will enjoy the outdoors. Saturday night I'm going to a fundraiser for the "No Kill" animal santuary that some people started three years ago. I've gone every year. There effort is to take animals and let them live out their life on this ranch. Very cool!!

Not done with the mushy love stuff!!!

On this card I used my cricut to cut the heart and then embossed the heart beloe with my cuttlebug. I then inked the heart to accent it. The paper I used is the new line from "My Mind's Eye" it's called "Bella-Bella" I love the soft romantic colors of this whole line!!

This is one of the projects I did in Wilna's class. I loved embossing all the little hearts and decorating them. Since this is on a canvas I will hang it up in my craft room!!

Much needed rest!

Hi ! I've been on a much needed vacation! I didn't get to go to the coast....because of the weather :-(. But reversed my plans and went to San Francisco, and Berkeley to the largest scrapbooking store in the bay area!! I then turned around and drove to Sacramento to Green Tangerines, which is a very nice store too!! I got some wonderful goodies!! I will be back soon with a project I made from the class I took from Wilna. Words can't describe how awesome her classes were. If you ever get a chance I highly recommend it!! :-)

I came home last night and was watching the news and there was a terrible accident. Someone ran a stop sign and there was a fatility. They didnt release names.....but today I found out it was someone I know. It's very tragic.....she was on her way to the store....It was raining hard and the guy realized that he ran the stop sign and sped up to try and miss the cars and didnt make it. It really makes you think....one minute your here and the next gone...So hold everyone you care about close and love them with all your heart.


I hope that everyone had a wonderful Valentine's!!

O.K.....So I know this is a little bright!!

But.. This is another new line from Cosmo Cricket and it's so bright and so cute, I thought I'd step out of my comfort zone and try something differnet again!! I thought this little picture was so cute and vintage looking. I colored in parts of the picture with my copic marker's. I love those marker's!! I still need to get more, so I buy a few at a time :-). Have a great week !!

It's the weekend!!!!

I am getting so excited!! This comming Thursday I'm going to my favorite place!! (See below!!) I can't wait!!! I need this rest so bad after working all those hours!! I will take lots of pics and share :-)

Wedding Wishes....

I made this card with the new Cosmo Cricket. I love this soft vintage paper. I also used Little Yellow Bicycle, and Creative Imaginations. I made the flower and cut the brown leaf out by hand. The other leaf's are made with a Martha Stewart punch. The rub-on saying is Melissa Frances, and so is the glitter heart. TFL!!! Char

The Love of a child ..

When I went to the mailbox yesterday these new goodies were inside :-) . New paper from Cosmo Cricket. This new line is so pretty. I love the colors !! Very soft and vintage looking. Those little kids on the card make me smile. Does anyone remember being a carefree child without the weights of the world on our shoulder's? Well, it bought me back to that time and warmed my heart!! I also used a Melissa Frances flower and rub-on's.

The 13 hour day's at work are done!!! Yeah!! It seems like I live at work for the month of January :-). But I'm glad that it's done now and i can get back to what I enjoy!!!!

Here's a few more pictures to share with you today. The first one I made using Pink Paislee paper for the backround. Making Memories and a little October Afternoon border. An ATC card from 7 gypsies, and rub-on from Fancy pants, hearts from Me and my big Ideas, and the little hearts are Hero arts.The I Love you lettering if My Little Yellow Bicycle. And last but no least the little holders are Tim Holtz.

This card was made with Making Memories paper, Cosmo Cricket rub-ons. The butterfly's are K&Co., and I used a Melissa Frances swirley do in the middle for the body. And the sentiment is Making Memories.
